Grandmother of two...born & raised in California, first generation American Mexican. My maternal grandparents came to America LEGALLY after Grandpa worked for 10 years here in America to save enough money for the whole family to move here. My Dad got a green card to come to America to work. He met my mother picking grapes and olives near Lindsay California and it was love at first sight. They married when Pop was 17 and Mom was 15. I was born 9 months later. The eldest of 5 kids. I married at 18 and had 3 children. Now I am helping to raise my grandchildren and hoping for more grandchildren. They keep me on my toes....and sometimes at the edge of my seat. Lol CSUChico Poly Sci graduate 1988
